Since the mid 1990s, Dayle Hayes has developed educational programs and conducted countless nationwide presentations on school wellness, fitness, nutrition and healthy lifestyles and has become a passionate advocate for excellence in school meals. She started the Billings Chapter of Action For Healthy Kids, co-hosted the first Childhood Hunger Summit in Yellowstone County, and co-founded a grassroots organization called "Be There Billings: End Childhood Hunger." She writes the monthly "Eat Right Montana" Healthy Family Packets and a popular nutrition column in the Billings Gazette, focusing on food, fun, fitness and family. Dayle also developed the "School Meals That Rock" blog and Facebook page showcasing healthy school meals from across the country. Each day her posts are seen by thousands of fans serving as a tribute to all the school nutrition professionals doing amazing things for kids everyday.
